It’s raining acai in Los Angeles, and Angelenos couldn’t be happier.

Everbowl, the San-Diego-based superfood chain, has burst into the L.A. market like the Kool-Aid Man with back-to-back openings across the greater Los Angeles area, including Calabasas (March 12th), Hollywood (April 23rd), and Venice Beach (April 30th).

The newest everbowl location at 3835 Thousand Oaks Boulevard launched on Friday, June 4th. Situated in the North Ranch Shopping Center, Everbowl joins an array of quick-service eats including deli and bistro Made in Italy and Western Bagel.

“We couldn’t be more excited to finally enter the Los Angeles market,” Founder Jeff Fenster said in a press release. “In a world where we can work, play, and eat without ever leaving our seat, people want and need an easy way to take back their health that not only tastes amazing but is convenient and accessible! everbowl is that answer, and we are actively looking for more locations throughout Los Angeles.”

According to the official website, everbowl promotes an “Unevolve lifestyle–living actively and eating stuff that’s been around forever.” Guests are able to craft their own acai bowls from a substantial selection of superfoods that includes acai, pitaya, chia pudding, matcha, coco love (tropical superfood), and blue majic (blue-green superfood algae high in chlorophyll).

Aside from its colorful bowls packed with flavor and fuel, everbowl also specializes in Superfuel coffee, which is made from premium beans from Guatemala and Colombia, and “infused with acai, other superfoods and nutrients that boost athletic performance and productivity.”

Fenster has plans to “open locations nationwide and bring the Southern California coastal vibe, centered on fitness, movement, and holism to the masses.” Since its conception in 2016, everbowl has flourished across California and has expanded into Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Florida. Outposts in Texas, Tennessee, and Missouri are planned to launch by the end of 2021.
