Farm Cup Coffee has some big plans to expand its hours and menu with a new restaurant called Aldea by Farm Cup in Echo Park, located at 1115 Sunset Blvd.

The coffee shop’s third location is currently open and situated in the former home of Winsome on the ground floor of the Elysian Apartments. Owners Tony Yuan, Emerson Haro, and partner Ryan Rodrigues are getting ready to greatly expand the menu and hours of this location. First, the owners hope to add breakfast and daytime options. Later in the future, likely around July 2022, the space will expand to a new restaurant called Aldea by Farm Cup and focus on a modern fusion of Indonesian-Latin flavors.

This new restaurant, led by chef Jania Ferrera, will be open from Thursday to Sunday, with an emphasis on Mexican ingredients and spices, according to Eater LA. Eventually, the owners hope to add a weekend-only brunch menu. Once all renovations are said and done, the space will have a little bit of everything, from coffee, pastries, and breakfast in the morning to lunch, dinner, and bar menus at night. Until then, customers can stop by the store now to see renovations and grab a cup of coffee. The company also has locations in West Hollywood and Century City.

“The name Farm Cup Coffee came from the sustainable idea of farm-to-table food,” according to the company’s website. “Ethical food-sourcing has become essential to a sustainable future, so why not translate that to one of the most consumed beverages in the world? We focus on organic single-origin coffee directly sourced from the farm owners, so you know exactly where your coffee comes from. The coffee is roasted at the source when possible to ensure the farmers receive the highest profit for their craft. When roasting at source is not possible, we partner with local roasters who align with our values in ethical sourcing.”
