Belmont Heights’ locally loved fast-casual Indian joint, Flamin’ Curry, is debuting a second location in Cal Heights. CFO Naveen Choda told What Now Los Angeles that the new space is scheduled to launch in April, but the opening all depends on when they receive finalized permit approvals from the city.
“We have a lot of demand from the Cal Heights area and customers who travel from there to get to our first location, so we’re excited to open a restaurant in that neighborhood for them,” said Choda.
The second generation restaurant space is larger than the original Flamin’ Curry and will also offer dedicated parking spots.
Flamin’ Curry is known for its authentic, straightforward Indian cuisine. The Belmont Heights’ setup is simple yet effective with a line of steam trays filled with a variety of Northern and Southern Indian staples, including biryani, tandoori, curry, samosas, naan, roti, lassi and more.
