Fire Wings is bringing its astonishing 21 flavors from around the world to the Promenade at Downey.
Fire Wings recently celebrated its five year anniversary. From its humble beginnings in Sacramento, this popular eatery has metaphorically spread like wildfire across the Golden State with over 49 locations and three out-of-state spots delighting sensation seekers in Houston.
The chicken wings restaurant is known for its diverse and distinct flavors that cover the entire taste spectrum. Fire Wings offers a taste of the world’s most sought-after flavors from dry rubs of Malaysian Curry, Jamaican Jerk, and Louisiana Rub to divine fusions like Peking, Thai Chili, and Korean Kick. As for Fire Wings Downey owner Charles Nhan, there’s just nothing better than the Peanut Butter or Mango Habanero wings paired with a side of garlic fries.
Aside from their fire wings, they also have some bomb Nashville hot chicken sandos, tender fries, and a savory selection of sides to satisfy all your cravings.
The Promenade, a lively outdoor retail and entertainment destination, is an ideal spot for this chicken wings restaurant, where shoppers and moviegoers will be able to feast on delicious wings and beer. Fire Wings will be a friendly environment to hang out with friends, family, and coworkers.
Nhan told What Now Los Angeles that this new location will have the signature Fire Wings dark wood and brick aesthetic and ambience “incorporated with the rich history of Downey and NASA,” commending the nearby Columbia Memorial Space Center. The 2,222-square-foot Fire Wings will seat roughly 80 people indoors and outdoors and will feature a garage door that compliments its open concept bar.
Fire Wings Downey will serve its mouthwatering wings and sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Soon you will be able to test your heat tolerance with some fire wings. Nhan anticipates opening Fire Wings Downey in the fall of 2021 or the beginning of 2022.
