Flour Pizzeria & Cafe, a Brentwood-based restaurant known for hand-tossed New York-style pizza and house-made Italian fare, is getting ready to open in Toluca Lake at 4201 W Alameda Avenue.
The company’s newest location is taking over the former home of Slices, located near the Warner Bros. lot, according to signage on the building, as first reported by WhatsNewSFV. While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, customers can expect pizza by the slice, rich espresso, and an all-day cafe atmosphere featuring pastries and sandwiches alongside the brand’s signature pies.
Flour Pizzeria & Cafe currently operates one location on San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood. The new Toluca Lake spot marks the brand’s first expansion beyond the Westside, bringing its East Coast–inspired offerings to a different part of Los Angeles. The pizzeria’s growing popularity stems from its crispy, foldable crusts and premium toppings.
The menu at Flour features a wide selection of specialty pizzas, including the “House” with burrata and hot honey, the truffle pie with ricotta and imported truffle oil, and the Zabs Zinger with jalapeños and sweet heat. Other items include Italian sandwiches, chopped salads, and house-made sauces. Gluten-free crust and catering options are also available.
The concept is designed to appeal to both casual diners and local professionals, offering quick counter service during the day and a relaxed neighborhood setting in the evening. In addition to food and drink, the brand runs a loyalty program and mobile ordering app to streamline customer experience across locations.
Flour Pizzeria’s upcoming Toluca Lake location expands its reach while staying true to its focus on quality ingredients and the New York-style pizza tradition. More details will be shared as the opening approaches.
