Anthony Carron, the founder of 800 Degrees and Top Round Roast Beef, is opening a new restaurant in Echo Park called Forever Pie, located at 2146 W. Sunset Blvd Unit B.

The experienced chef is expanding his resume once again with this brand new pizzeria, expected to open in Spring or Summer 2022. Leasing representative Jonathan Steier confirmed the new restaurant will replace Icy Rush Co. Carron has yet to announce the restaurant, so few details are available at this point. Carron signed a five-year lease agreement for his new restaurant, which will sit next to a Los Angeles Fire Department.

Anthony Carron is no stranger to the pizza or the restaurant industry. He started 800 Degrees in 2012 after spending six years as the corporate executive chef for Mina Group, including restaurants such as Mother Tongue, Bourbon Burger Bar, and Bourbon Steak. In less than a decade, he expanded 800 Degrees to New York, Miami, Dubai, and Tokyo. Following this success, Carron decided to open another franchise called Top Round Roast Beef, serving home-style meals in California, Texas, and Florida.

Earlier this year, Carron opened his third restaurant, Coast Range, in downtown Solvang. While 800 Degrees and Top Round are his two day jobs, he says Coast Range is his passion project. It’s unclear if this new pizza restaurant will be another passion project for the restaurateur or if it will be a franchise like his first two restaurants.

CORRECTION: The previous article misstated the new restaurant was going to take over the space of Bucatini. The new restaurant will replace Icy Rush Co.
