A logo, perfectly matching Mr. T’s, posted outside a Hollywood storefront strongly suggests the future tenant of this space is none other than the popular French bistro. Until now, the restaurant has remained in Paris, at 38 Rue de Saintonge — in the heart of the 3rd arrondissement — which would make this the first-ever American location, according to Eater LA

Mr. T serves a variety of internationally inspired food, paired with a large selection of wine. The restaurant’s Instagram shows off an eclectic menu — kebabs, falafels, tacos, salads, “KFP” (fried chicken and a play on “KFC”), and of course French entree items. Similarly, the nearby Gigi’s serves French-inspired cuisine and a focus on housing a variety of wines.

Recently,  Mr. T has undergone a bit of rebranding at its Paris location, coinciding with the COVID-induced change of pace restaurants are facing worldwide. Under the name Mr. Street, the team focused on turning their international fusion-fare into street food, making it more accessible to everyone during the pandemic.

No opening timeline for Mr. T has been given for the American location on the corner of Sycamore and Romaine.
