A new restaurant conceptGramercy, is preparing to open at 5625 W. Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.

This is the latest from 5626 Hospitality, which recently received approval from the Los Angeles City Planning Department under the Restaurant Beverage Program (RBP). The approved plans call for a 2,645-square-foot space with 77 interior seats, operating daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant will serve beer and wine for on-site consumption under a Type 41 license, in line with RBP eligibility and operating requirements. These include a full food menu at all times, no live entertainment, no outdoor music, and limitations on private events.

While an official opening date has not been announced, a preliminary look at Gramercy’s sample menu suggests a contemporary Italian-American influence. The food program includes classic hand-rolled thin-crust pizzas (with options like Margherita, sausage and fennel, prosciutto with potato and egg, and anchovy-sardine), as well as a variety of pastas, starters, and daily specials. Highlighted dishes include Roman Suppli, Chicken Meatballs, Eggplant Parmesan, and Rigatoni with sausage and peas in vodka tomato cream sauce. A weekly rotation of entrées, including Chicken Milanese, Petral Sole, and Sunday Gravy with Braised Oxtail, is also planned.

Lighter options feature seasonal salads, Chef’s Boards with imported meats and cheeses, and vegetable-forward appetizers such as broccolini, heirloom carrots, and grilled asparagus. Desserts listed on the sample menu include Hazelnut Chocolate Cake, Tiramisu, and Italian Ice. Gramercy will join a growing list of neighborhood eateries offering elevated casual dining along the East Hollywood corridor. Its location on Hollywood Boulevard places it at the heart of a vibrant, diverse community with substantial foot traffic, making it an ideal spot for the debut of this new concept.
