Cue the Jaws theme song. This shark fin is heading to West Hollywood. A pending liquor license suggests that co-owners Sam Trude and Samuel Cooper are working towards opening a new Great White location.

Great White is gradually venturing from its home in Venice Beach with an anticipated destination on Larchmont Boulevard in Hancock Park and this newer target in West Hollywood.

The coastal Californian cafe provides a breakfast and lunch menu that “highlights seasonal, organic produce from Californian growers and features playful smoothies, fresh salads, sandwiches, and burgers,” according to its official website. From avocado toast and leafy salads to fish tacos and wood-fired-oven pizzas, Great White captures the very essence of sunny L.A.

Although an official opening date has not yet been announced, be sure to check back here for updates. We will let you know when Great White is ready for its close-up at 8917 Melrose Avenue.
