It appears Gruppo Terroni is bringing its bread bakery concept to Brentwood. Forno, owned by Sud Forno, LLC, recently applied for a liquor license at 171 S Barrington Place, which is just down the block from the Terroni Brentwood that’s in the works at 155 S Barrington Place.

“Bread is an Italian table staple. This was the rise of Sud Forno. Fascinated by the art of bread making, Cosimo decided to bring this craft in-house to be able to offer all his guests an artisanal bread, both with their meals and to be taken home,” says Gruppo Terroni’s website

In addition to the variety of artisanal loaves, biscotti, and pastries that the bakery offers, customers can also buy frozen pastas and sauces to make at home, as well as fresh breakfast, pizza, paninis, salads, and more.

Currently, the only two Sud Forno locations are in Toronto, so the Brentwood bakery will be the concept’s U.S. debut.
