Harry & David, a legacy brand renowned for its premium fruit and gourmet gift baskets, is set to open in Los Angeles at Westfield Century City, located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd.
The company’s new location is set to move into a second-floor space, taking over a unit recently vacated by another retailer, according to signage on-site first reported by ToddRickAllen. Although an exact opening date has not been announced, the brand is expected to begin serving customers in Century City later this year. Visitors can expect Harry & David’s full lineup of seasonal fruit, curated gifts, and specialty food offerings.
Founded in 1934 and based in Southern Oregon, Harry & David is widely recognized for its Royal Riviera pears and upscale gifting options. The company gained popularity as one of the first major catalog mail-order brands in the U.S. and has since expanded its retail and digital footprint nationwide. The upcoming Los Angeles store is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to reestablish its brick-and-mortar presence in high-traffic markets.
Century City’s Westfield center, renowned for attracting both global brands and local favorites, offers Harry & David a strategic retail location in a densely populated area surrounded by office towers, hotels, and residential developments. The location aligns with the company’s target market of corporate clients, gift-givers, and specialty food shoppers.
The new store is expected to carry Harry & David’s core catalog, including their signature gift towers, fruit-of-the-month subscriptions, wine pairings, and gourmet snacks. The brand also partners with other labels under the 1-800-Flowers family, which includes Cheryl’s Cookies, Simply Chocolate, and The Popcorn Factory.
