Some Most Exciting Upcoming Restaurant Openings in LA 

A new wave of restaurants is on the horizon for Los Angeles, bringing everything from cafés to global BBQ flavors. Here’s a roundup of the city’s newest restaurant opening reported by WhatNow in November.

Erewhon

Erewhon, an organic grocer and wellness brand, is set to open a new location in Thousand Oaks at 2150 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard with a cafe. The opening date is set for 2026 summer.

Cafe Starling 

Overland Hospitality, Inc.’s concept Cafe Starlings is debuting in Palms at 3601 S. Overland Avenue. The cafe will replace the Overland Cafe, which closed down after five decades of service. Mish 

Celebrity chef Eric Greenspan is planning a new Jewish deli called Mish. Greenspan recently exited Tesla Diner in Hollywood, Los Angeles, which he co-founded in July 2025. Mish is Greenspan’s latest venture, specializing in Jewish deli cuisine. Explore more about it here.

Hi Dozo

A delivery-only sushi concept brand Hi. Dozo is planning its first brick-and-mortar location in West Hollywood at 634 1/2 N. Robertson Boulevard. The restaurant will replace the Duroque Custom Neon and Lifestyle Boutique location. The 2,400-square-foot location, now under construction, is scheduled to open in mid-to-late 2026. Sora Temaki Bar

Pitfire Pizza

Pitfire Pizza is working on a new site at 3701 West Jefferson Blvd in Los Angeles. The pizzeria has expanded across the state and has branches in Carlsbad, Costa Mesa, Echo Park, Mar Vista, North Hollywood, Orange, Pasadena, Westwood, and Woodland Hills. San Fernando Company

Spacca Tutto

Spacca Tutto, an Italian-American steakhouse concept, is slated to open in the redeveloped section of Palisades Village in Pacific Palisades. The project is scheduled for August 2026. Kura Sushi

Matt Egan’s brand-new concept, La Morocha, is set to open in the Arts District of Los Angeles at 530 S. Mateo Street.
