Highly Likely, a stylish and community-focused cafe and restaurant with two locations in Los Angeles, is set to expand beyond the city with a new location coming soon to Ojai, at 211 W. Ojai Avenue.

The company’s third location is set to move into the former home of Beacon Coffee Company, according to its website. While the exact opening date is unclear, the team has been remodeling the space since late last year, with signage appearing as early as September 2024. Potential delays may be linked to Chef Kat Turner—Highly Likely’s executive chef and co-owner—participating as one of 15 chefs in the newest season of Top Chef, filmed in Canada and premiering March 13 on Bravo. Despite this, the Ojai location is expected to open sometime this year.

Partners Chelsea Matthews, Alex Matthews, and Cary Mosier enlisted Chef Kat Turner to create a culinary program at their original West Adams location, focusing on variety, comfort, and uniqueness. This collaboration continues to evolve as the team looks forward to future growth. Highly Likely, with locations in West Adams and Highland Park, serves as an all-day community hub offering quality food, coffee, and beverages. By sourcing from sustainable and local vendors, the restaurant aims to provide consistently excellent food and drink seven days a week.

The Highland Park location, located on Figueroa Street, features a back patio, a full-service dinner menu, and a cocktail program. In response to demand, daytime weekend reservations are now available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., allowing guests to book brunch tables on Saturdays and Sundays. The restaurant also partners with local vendors and California farmers to provide high-quality offerings. The space is designed to be both welcoming and functional, serving as a neighborhood gathering spot throughout the day.

When the new Ojai location opens, customers can expect a menu that reflects Highly Likely’s signature mix of comfort and creativity. Offerings will include popular items like the Japanese Breakfast, Fish Sandwich, and Koji Chicken Schnitzel. The menu will also feature vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options to accommodate a range of dietary preferences. Coffee, natural wine, and craft cocktails will be available, along with house-made beverages. Like the other locations, the menu will be developed in collaboration with Chef Kat Turner.
