Hilarios Tacos is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location at 28440 Haskell Canyon Rd. in Santa Clarita by mid-June.
The taqueria started out as a home delivery and catering service before owners Hilario and Lorena Bacilio launched their food truck in 2022 to start selling their fresh-made dishes to the public.
“This is the second year we have the food trailer and decided that it’s time to also open a restaurant. When the location became available we jumped on it,” Lorena told WNLA.
Chef Hilario has prepared a menu with a range of Mexican staples including tacos, quesadillas, burritos, mulitas, tortas, ceviche, enchiladas, breakfast plates, chile relleno, chilaquiles, shrimp cocktail, aguachile, and more. They also plan to serve combo plates, as well as sodas and agua frescas with flavors like horchata and pineapple.
Pro-Tip: Get the birria, that’s their specialty.
The counter service concept will offer dishes for around $12-$15.
“I hope everybody comes out to taste our food, it’s a must try!” concluded Lorena.
