Hinodeya Ramen, a Japanese restaurant specializing in dashi-based ramen, is preparing to open a new location in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo neighborhood at 232 E 2nd Street, Suite B.

The company’s sixth location will move into the former home of Tsukemen Aizen, according to a recent liquor license application. While the exact opening date has not yet been announced, Hinodeya’s website hints that it will open soon. This will be the second location in Los Angeles, following the Hinodeya Ramen Bar in Palms at 11127 Palms Boulevard. The San Francisco-based company also operates three locations in its hometown and one in Dallas.

When the new Hinodeya Ramen location opens, customers can expect authentic dashi-based ramen, including popular items like House Ramen and vegan options. The menu will also feature appetizers such as gyoza and spicy edamame. With dine-in, take-out, and delivery options, the restaurant prioritizes high-quality ingredients and efficient service in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

The menu at Hinodeya Ramen offers a variety of traditional ramen choices, including their signature House Ramen, which features a dashi broth made from bonito, kombu, and scallop. The restaurant also provides vegan options such as creamy vegan ramen, which is made with sesame and soy milk broth. Other offerings include spicy ramen varieties, gyoza, and spicy edamame, along with customizable toppings like extra cha-shu pork and marinated eggs.

Founded in 1885 in Saitama, Japan, Hinodeya Ramen has established a strong reputation for its dashi-based ramen. The brand has since expanded internationally, with locations in San Francisco and Dallas, and continues to grow. Hinodeya has become a favorite among ramen enthusiasts worldwide because it is committed to quality ingredients and traditional methods. As demand for authentic Japanese cuisine rises, the brand may consider further expansion in other major cities.
