A recent filing for a liquor license at 1418 N Spring Street indicates that owner Freddy Braidi will be opening a new concept called North Spring Street Market in Dogtown.

While details about his new venture are scarce, locals can expect an exceptional venue from Braidi who is one of the founders of Boulevard Nightlife Group, a management company specializing in entertainment, dining and hospitality. BNG is behind some of LA’s most legendary hospitality venues, such as Sugar Factory, TCL Chinese Theater, and Yamashiro Hollywood.

North Spring Street Market has a prime location in Dogtown, just across the street from the Los Angeles State Historic Park and in close proximity to Chinatown and Dodger Stadium in Elysian Park. The expansive venue resembles a warehouse with nearly floor-to-ceiling windows across three of its walls.

Check back here for updates on North Spring Street Market as we learn more about what the new venue will bring to Dogtown.
