Quick service dessert franchise Jars by Fabio Viviani is planning a massive expansion into Southern California, opening a new location in Cerritos.

Earlier this year, celebrity chef Fabio Viviani announced he is opening his flagship location in Chicago’s West Loop in Fall 2022. Since then, the company has made plans to expand significantly, signing a multi-unit franchise deal to open five in Texas. Now, the company is getting ready to open even more locations throughout Southern California, specifically Orange County, with ten coming to the area in the next few months. Luckily, Los Angeles is getting its own location with a new site coming to Cerritos, according to the company’s website.

Fabio Viviani has partnered with Fransmart to handle the franchise agreements for Southern California. The leading franchise development company is focusing on first-time franchisees for these new locations. All ten Orange County locations, which include Irvine, Buena Park, Tustin, Brea, and Huntington Beach, will be owned and operated by first-time franchisee Bethany Nelms and the Nelms Family. The Cerritos location is the only site not to have an announced franchisee.

“We were attracted to the JARS concept for many reasons, including its innovative and delicious menu offerings and strong unit economics, but we’re most excited to partner with Fabio to bring his first-ever dessert concept to Southern California,” Bethany Nelms said in a press release.
