Kettle Black is “temporarily” closing its doors, according to a Thursday Instagram post from the three-year-old Silver Lake Italian restaurant.

December 22 will be the last opportunity to “get your hands on pizza and pasta” before the space, at 3705 Sunset Blvd., goes dark.

“Thank you, THANK YOU to everyone for the incredible support we’re received the past three years,” according to the social media post.

“Silver Lake is our home, and we’re stoked to come back hotter than ever in the new year.”

Details on the restaurant’s return are scarce.

Reps for Kettle Black did not immediately respond to a request for comment by What Now Los Angeles Thursday.
