Kitchen United, the fast-growing multi-restaurant ghost kitchen, is adding four new locations in Los Angeles.
The company already has six locations across the country and is getting ready to add 12 more by year-end. Residents of Los Angeles should be excited to learn they will be adding four throughout the city. Starting in October, they will open two new locations in Santa Monica, located at 1315 3rd St. and 2501 Colorado Ave. Next month in November, Kitchen United will open a branch in Westwood, at 10861 Le Conte Ave. Finally, they will add a new location in Torrence by December, located at 3525 W Carson St.
Kitchen United started in 2017 in Pasadena under founders John Miller and Harry Tsao and quickly became popular during the pandemic. They’re a perfect option for someone who doesn’t like to make decisions. Each of their locations contains a variety of other restaurants to choose from. The idea behind these multi-restaurant ghost kitchens is that they allow restaurants to expand their food delivery business without adding staff or space. Instead, the company used delivery services like Uber Eats and Postmates to connect the restaurants with the customers.
Each United Kitchen features anywhere from 10-20 restaurants from the area. The original Pasadena location, at 55 S. Madison Ave., offers Dinah’s Chicken, Trejo’s Tacos, JAILBIRD, Big Belly Burgers, Wendys, and more! The newest location is expected to have some local favorites as well. Whatever they offer, their mission stays the same: to deliver “delicious food options to hungry communities who crave variety; while also providing local restaurant businesses with streamlined operations support within clean, safe, state-of-the-art kitchen facilities.”
