Sandra Cordero, the mind behind Woodland HillsGasolina Cafe, will soon open a Spanish tapas concept and natural wine bar called Xuntos at 516 Santa Monica Boulevard, the former Heroic Italian

As for what Xunto will offer and how it will differ from Cordero’s maiden operation, the incoming eatery “will be a more grown-up affair,” says Eater LA, “with classic tapas dishes from northern Spain…[and] some California Spanish specialties that Cordero is making just for this new restaurant.”

The expected opening date for the Westside project is late spring, according to Cordero’s reps.
