North Hollywood could soon be home to a new micro-brewery called Lawless Brewing Co.
Owner Ben Wallace recently met with the NoHo Neighborhood Council seeking a “letter of support” for Lawless, at 5275 Craner Avenue.
The 8,000-square-foot warehouse space was most recently home to Birns & Sawyer, an audiovisual equipment rental company.
Birns & Sawyer has since relocated to a 4,500-square-foot site in Burbank.
It looks like there are plans for at least four brews at Lawless: Brosé All Day (Farmhouse Ale with Hibiscus and Honey), NoHo Boho (Bohemian Pilsner), NoHo Nouveau (West-Coast-style Pilsner with Citra hops), and The Juice (New-England-style IPA with Citra and Mosaic hops, tropical aromas of pineapple and grapefruit).
Additional details surrounding the planned brewery are scarce.
A website splash page and a registered Facebook page leaves a lot to the imagination.
Wallace did not respond to What Now Los Angeles’ request for comment.
