Local Kitchens, the San Francisco-based micro food hall offering a diverse mix of top-tier restaurants under one roof, is coming to Redondo Beach, located at 1109 S Pacific Coast Hwy.
The new micro food hall will move into the former home of Mama D’s in Fall 2022. Around the same time, the company will expand further south with two new sites coming to Orange County, including Huntington Beach and Lake Forest. Currently, the company has eight locations in Northern California across the greater Bay Area and Sacramento. Each Local Kitchens location features 5-10 local concepts and offers convenient online and mobile ordering, paired with fast and friendly service.
So far, confirmed restaurants include The Melt, SAJJ Mediterranean, and Sushirrito. Other eateries featured in Local Kitchens include Baby Badass Burgers, Backyard Bowls, Chicas Tacos, Hanchic, Locali, Sweetfin, and Milk Bar. The specific restaurant assigned to the three new locations will be confirmed at a later date. Several of the Northern California concepts currently partnered with Local Kitchens will also be expanding to the greater Southern California market through this partnership.
“Our guests in NorCal love the unique ability to easily mix and match from 5-10 different cuisines all in one order,” Jon Goldsmith, CEO, and co-founder of Local Kitchens, said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to introduce the same variety of cuisines and convenience to the Huntington Beach, Lake Forest, and Redondo Beach communities as our first of many Southern California locations.”
