On the heels of opening Tuesday in DTLA’s Third & Traction, Culver City taqueria Loqui is heading to Playa Vista.

Loqui will open in Runway, at 12751 W Millennium Avenue, in spring 2020.

Co-Owner Ari Ampudia has already started permitting for the forthcoming restaurant, recently filing a “categorical exemption” to serve alcohol at the forthcoming Loqui.

The taco joint will be situated in Building 5 of the Whole Foods Market-anchored mixed-use development near Cinemark.

Loqui will occupy a 2,102-square-foot space with seating for 36 inside, 32 seats in a private outdoor area, and will share 204 seats at adjacent courtyards.

Bull & Butterfly, a new restaurant from the founders of Lemonade, is opening soon across Runway Road almost parallel to where Loqui will be situated.

The quick-service restaurant first debuted in Culver City’s Platform development in 2016.
