Mama Hong’s original kitchen debuted in Burbank, followed by locations in Brentwood and Orange, the latter of which launched at the beginning of this year. Mama Hong’s will soon close its kitchen in the shopping complex in Brentwood and reopen its new kitchen just a few blocks down in West LA.

Mama Hong’s serves an assortment of Vietnamese classics including pho, banh mi, noodle and rice dishes. Patrons may choose from filet mignon, oxtail, sliced steak, brisket, meatballs, shrimp or tofu and broccoli to have with their pho. Other highlights include Shaken Beef Garlic Noodles, Vermicelli with Thanh Long Fish, and Banh Mi (sandwich on toasted French roll with pickled carrots and radishes, cucumber spears and mayonnaise).

Mama Hong’s will settle into the vacancy at 12201 Santa Monica Boulevard, which had formerly housed burger joint Quicksand who closed its doors during the pandemic. We will keep you updated on when Mama Hong’s in West LA will be open to the public.
