Speaking with What Now Los Angeles, owner of Market Chicken Francisco Carvalho says he hopes his new stand headed to the Original Farmers Market on 3rd and Fairfax will be able to open in the next three to four months. The eatery is not immune to the delays in permitting and supply chains that the pandemic has triggered. He says unfortunately it is unlikely Market Chicken will open before Christmas.

This is a bummer for all of us, because Market Chicken promises delicious eats in the form of traditional rotisserie-style chicken. The stall, which will focus primarily on the chicken, will serve up two kinds, a standard rotisserie and a spicy rotisserie, the latter of which will be marinaded to ensure every bite is spiced.

Carvalho says in addition to the chicken, the stall will serve around 10 different sides, some of which include air-fried French fries, basmati rice with veggies, black beans, and an assortment of salads. You’ll be able to indulge in wraps from the stand as well. The food will be healthy and flavorful, Carvalho added.

If you’re like us and dying to know just when Market Chicken will be open for public enjoyment, you can find the eatery on Instagram or head over to marketchicken.com for updates.
