A well-known Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant, Luscious Dumplings, is preparing to open a new location in Beverly Hills.

The company’s second Los Angeles site is set to open later this year, joining locations in Monrovia and Philadelphia, according to the restaurant’s website. This is exciting news for Luscious Dumplings, which tried to open a location in Anaheim at 1800 S Harbor Boulevard, but those plans failed to materialize. Now, the company is back with a new location coming to Beverly Hills, plus a new location coming to San Diego’s Village Walk at Eastlake in Chula Vista.

This is the latest from Michelle Wu, whose parents founded the company in 2001 in Shenyang. Then, Wu and her husband, Ker Zhu, opened the Monrovia outpost of Luscious in 2012. At the beginning of 2018, the couple expanded into nearby Highland Park, naming their new eatery Mason’s Dumpling Shop after their son. Mason’s is an even more casual offshoot of what is already one of Los Angeles’s more prolific dumpling houses. The company has since opened new Mason’s Dumpling Shop locations in Colorado at Aurora, Boulder, and Belham.

Luscious Dumplings is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant in Monrovia. It offers a variety of delicious dumplings made fresh each morning, using the highest-quality meats and traditional family recipes passed down through generations. The menu also features soup noodles, snacks, and vegetable drinks. These simple yet delicious recipes have earned the restaurant a spot on the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand list for 2021.
