Chef Dominique Crenn is opening Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn this fall.
According to fashion industry publication, Womens Wear Daily (WWD), the restaurant will be located on the third floor of Dior‘s flagship Beverly Hills store, with its own dedicated street-level entrance at 323 North Rodeo Drive. The space will encompass a lounge and bar, along with a dining room offering both indoor and outdoor seating with a total seating capacity of 105.
The first Monsieur Dior opened in Paris in 2022, according to Eater, and there are plans for a third location to open in Osaka, Japan in 2026. Each location has a different chef helping the kitchen.
This isn’t the first dining collaboration between chef Crenn and Dior. Last year, she opened Café Dior by Dominique Crenn in Dallas, which offers lunch, desserts, and an afternoon tea service complete with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label. The restaurant, filled with colorful images, takes inspiration from flowers and nature for both its decor and menu.
Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn will take the partnership between Crenn and Dior one step further, with the luxury eatery offering both lunch and dinner service. According to WWD, the menu will combine fashion with food, with each dish inspired by a famous Dior creation. For instance, “a tuna tartare with purple yam chips and crème fraiche drawing from a Dior tulle gown worn by actress Emilia Clarke at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival and a black truffle agnolotti with mushroom consommé referencing Charlize Theron’s 2006 J’Adore campaign”.
Dominique Crenn is a master chef with a long list of accolades. She’s best known for her three-Michelin-starred Atelier Crenn in San Francisco. She also owns San Francisco’s Bar Crenn, along with adjacent Le Comptoir, a Michelin-starred French omakase counter.
