A new all-vegan burger joint is set to open at 8432 West 3rd Street in Beverly Grove. Monty’s Good Burger is a plant-based restaurant with locations in Koreatown, The Riverside Food Lab in Riverside California, and Echo Park, at 1533 W Sunset Boulevard. Menu items include the plant-based Impossible 2.0 patty and house-made sauces.

The Beverly Grove location previously housed My Little Dumpling. The 2,400-square-foot space was first put on the market in January 2020 with eight years remaining on the lease and an asking price of “$395,000 or best offer,” according to a since-removed for-sale listing for the restaurant.

The Co-Founders of the operation are Amy Alton of Best Beverage Catering, Erin and Derric Swinfard of Monster Media and Dirk, and Goldenvoice festival producers Nic Adler and Bill Fold, who put on Coachella and the Eat Drink Vegan event. The business launched in August 2018, named after Monty, an actual dog that belongs to Fold.

The estimated opening date is still unknown. What Now Los Angeles reached out to Adler, but was denied information on the new location.
