A popular barbecue pop up restaurant has finally found a home in Los Angeles. “It’s official,” Moo’s Craft posted onto Instagram on Tuesday. “The hard work, late night cooks and dedication to the craft is finally paying off. We are beyond excited to share with you all that we have finally found a new permanent home for Moo’s Craft Barbecue in the heart of Los Angeles.”

Moo’s started as an underground BBQ popup in a small east LA backyard in 2017. Inspired by Texas BBQ, Moo’s is made with old school techniques to produce mouth melting smoked meats with a CaliMex twist.

As the search for its first brick-and-mortar was ongoing, hours long lines were not uncommon at brewery popups and Smorgasburg in LA.

Now it appears that will no longer be necessary.

“We’ve been dreaming of this moment for so long and it’s finally come true,” Moo’s posted onto Instagram. “We can’t wait to welcome you all into our new space for some Texas BBW with some craft beers and wine very, very soon.”

EaterLA reports the new Moo’s will be located in Lincoln Heights and will be taking over Lincoln Kitchen & Tap.

Nearby businesses include WaBa Grill, Corn Man and The Original Carnitas Michoacan.

Owner Andrew Munoz could not be reached in time of publication.
