Hollywood’s newest restaurant, RDEN Bar & Restaurant, officially opened Thursday, September 28th, 2023. RDEN Bar & Restaurant is nestled on the street level of the Taft Building.
Built in 1923, the Taft Building stands as a monument in Hollywood, located adjacent to the Pantages Theater and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. RDEN Bar & Restaurant now occupies this historic space, breathing new life into its storied walls under the leadership of Owner & CEO Gaspar Petrosyan and his team at Public Square LA Hospitality including Director of Operations Wally Moran, Chef de Cuisine Noe Olivera, Executive Sushi & Omakase Chef Tommy Ko, and Bar Manager Carlos Giron.
RDEN’s culinary journey is guided by Chef de Cuisine Noe Olivera. Olivera’s menu pays homage to classic steakhouse fare while infusing it with modern global twists. Appetizers like Spicy Hummus and Lavash Chips, Peruvian Ceviche, Mussels, and Charcuterie. The Salad section has creations like the Summer Beet Salad, Sunomono Crab Salad, Wakame Salad and Albacore.
Entrées include dishes such as Uni Pasta, Surf & Turf, and the 32 oz Wagyu Tomahawk. Sides like Lobster Tail with Butter, Mac & Cheese, and Brussels Sprouts complete the dining experience.
Executive Sushi & Omakase Chef Tommy Ko brings 23 years of sushi experience to the table. At the intimate six-seat Omakase Bar, Chef Tommy crafts unique, chef’s choice Omakase menus for guests. A full Sushi menu includes traditional Rolls, Sashimi & Carpaccio, and Nigiri Sushi & Sashimi.
RDEN Bar is a grand throwback to Hollywood’s Golden Era. A marble bar top, chandeliers, and a well-stocked back bar make it a haven for cocktail aficionados. Bar Manager Carlos Giron has curated an exceptional cocktail program, featuring delights like the Beautiful Garden, Japanese Martini, Florecita, and the signature RDEN Old Fashioned.
RDEN Bar & Restaurant offers an upstairs dining room with panoramic views of Hollywood Blvd., a sleek omakase bar, and a patio for alfresco dining under the stars.
RDEN Bar & Restaurant is open Sunday through Monday from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am. The RDEN Bar is open every Friday and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am.
