Nick the Greek, a fast-growing Greek street food franchise known for its gyros, bowls, and pita wraps, is preparing to open a new location at 3011 N Hollywood Way in Burbank.

The upcoming location, owned and operated by franchisee Niko Heliotis, marks another step in the brand’s continued expansion across Southern California. It’s unclear exactly when this location is expected to open. Nick the Greek currently operates dozens of restaurants throughout the Western U.S. and is steadily growing its footprint with new franchise deals and local partnerships.

Burbank has experienced notable economic growth in recent months, with a diverse range of new businesses opening across the city. The arrival of Nick the Greek will follow the opening of several other concepts recently reported by What Now Los Angeles, including Jam Jam Tea Lab, Handel’s Ice Cream, and Flow Coffee + Wine Bar. The Burbank location of Nick the Greek is one of several new businesses coming to the area, alongside Scum and Villainy Cantina, Mom’s Bakery, and Firehouse Subs. The mix of dining, retail, and service concepts reflects a broader trend of growth in the city’s commercial corridors.

Nick the Greek has been actively expanding through a multi-unit franchise strategy, offering traditional Mediterranean flavors in a fast-casual format. With over 80 locations open and more in development, the brand aims to reach 100 restaurants nationwide by the end of 2025. Recent menu updates, including the introduction of the Mediterranean Steak Bowl, have helped attract a broader customer base while staying true to the brand’s Greek heritage.

When the new Burbank location opens, customers can expect classic Greek street food favorites, including gyros, souvlaki, and fresh Mediterranean bowls. The menu features flavorful options, including the popular Mediterranean Steak Bowl, crispy falafel, and hearty salads, all made with authentic ingredients for a quick and satisfying meal.
