Noble 33 Unveils Japanese Steakhouse Concept For Beverly Hills

Noble 33 is behind multiple upscale restaurant concepts.

Hospitality group Noble 33 is venturing into Japanese dining, with plans to open a Japanese steakhouse and izakaya at Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills, according to a release The new restaurant will take a 12,000-square-foot ground-floor space at the luxury homes development. It is expected to open in 2027.

Noble 33 has gained international recognition for its concepts, including Toca Madera, Medüza Mediterrania, Sparrow Italia and 1587 Prime. The forthcoming steakhouse will spotlight Japanese steak, and the sister izakaya concept will center on small plates and ramen.

“The goal for Noble 33 has always been to expand across different cuisines, exploring how we can thoughtfully incorporate global dining experiences which have long inspired us as a point of departure for our menu,” Noble 33 co-founder and CEO Mikey Tanha said in the release. “For Rosewood Residences, we’re introducing Los Angeles to our take on Japanese dining, anchored by the precision and immersive experience of a classic Noble 33 steakhouse.” 

Noble 33 co-founder Tosh Berman will head up the design for the space, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese design with modern twists. Details will include layered wood paneling, coffered ceilings, soft lighting, artwork and leather banquettes. There will be a central bar and sushi counter in the space, as well as private areas with shoji screens, samurai armor and weapon displays.

“We’ve had our Japanese concept in the works for several years and were waiting for the right location to bring it to life,” Berman said in the release. “With 12,000 square feet, the space allows us to fully execute the design vision and create something unlike any other Japanese restaurant in the city.”

Noble 33’s portfolio of restaurants spans multiple major cities, including Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, Las Vegas, Kansas City, London, Scottsdale, Houston and Toronto.
