Noodle St., a fast-casual concept known for its handmade noodles and Asian-inspired dishes, is preparing to open in Sherman Oaks at 14006 Riverside Drive, Site #26.
The company’s ninth location is set to open in a space between Panini Kabob Grill and BoxUnion within the Westfield Fashion Square, according to the shopping center’s website. While an exact opening date has not been announced, the expansion was first reported by WhatsNewSFV. When this location opens, customers can expect a menu focused on made-to-order items, with an emphasis on handcrafted preparation.
Noodle St. opened its first restaurant in 2017 to bring authentic handmade noodles to fellow Chinese immigrants seeking the flavors of home. As the brand gained traction, it reached a broader audience of customers interested in approachable, noodle-focused meals. Over time, the company expanded its mission to make its style of Asian noodles available to a broader community.
The brand has steadily grown across Southern California with locations in Fullerton, Monrovia, Arcadia, Pasadena, Irvine, Eastvale, Chino, and near UCLA. Each restaurant features a similar focus on house-made noodles crafted through traditional hand-pulling methods that allow for a variety of textures and shapes. These methods include round, flat, triangular, and knife-cut noodles, each with its own distinct bite.
The upcoming Sherman Oaks restaurant will likely mirror the offerings found at the company’s existing locations. Menu items typically center on broth-based bowls, stir fry selections, and customizable noodle dishes that appeal to a range of preferences. The company emphasizes delivering fresh food quickly through streamlined kitchen systems.
This will be an excellent landing space for Noodle St., given the steady foot traffic within Westfield Fashion Square and the mall’s mix of casual dining options. The Sherman Oaks addition continues the brand’s regional growth by expanding its noodle-style menu to more communities.
