La Popular is opening at Ovation Hollywood, offering diners sweeping views of the iconic Hollywood Sign. The vibrant Mexican restaurant will bring the strong flavors of Mexican cuisine to the lively LA dining scene on September 22.

Grupo Carolo, Mexico’s hospitality powerhouse, backs La Popular. Eduardo Gómez Senderos founded the innovative restaurant group in 2007. Under his leadership, the company has grown significantly. Grupo Carolo’s portfolio, including La Popular, Carolo, Blanco Colima, Emilio, Cachava, and Casa Ó reflects its international expansion strategy.

Norr Architects and Greige Goods Studio designed the Los Angeles location, combining contemporary elegance with warm, authentic Mexican accents. The 5,500-sq-ft restaurant space features a farmhouse aesthetic, an open dining room, and a sculpted wood-tile wall. Along with that, there is an indoor-outdoor bar, communal table, lounge seating, and a lush plant wall.

The restaurant also has an expansive patio, which will offer a year-round dining experience, live music, and views of the Hollywood Sign.
