Gabriel Barajas, the owner of Los Angeles-based TacosWay, is expanding his culinary repertoire by opening a new concept called PizzaWay.
Expected to offer “Hispanic pizzas” with healthy options like cauliflower dough and salads, PizzaWay is bound for three neighborhoods: 6439 Canoga Avenue in Warner Center, 5608 Van Nuys Boulevard in Van Nuys, and 9420 Reseda Boulevard in Northridge, a rep for the forthcoming chain confirmed with What Now Los Angeles Thursday. All three locations were formerly home to PizzaRev.
The openings are expected to be a month’s time for the Warner Center location and late-August or early-September for the latter two.
Barajas’ up-and-coming pizza empire isn’t the only thing that’s spreading its wings across the San Fernando Valley. TacosWay is also expected to open soon in Van Nuys, and there are plans to eventually open in the Oxnard and Placentia neighborhoods as well.
Japanese-Mexican fusion restaurant Sushiway is also expected to make a splash with an opening in Oxnard this August.
