Poké House, the rapidly growing fast-casual franchise known for its fresh, handcrafted Hawaiian poké bowls, has announced plans to enter Los Angeles County for the first time with a new location coming to 2919 Los Feliz Boulevard, Suite E3.

Franchise owners Andrew Cho and David Kang will open the poké concept in the former home of TOGO’s Sandwiches. Cho tells What Now Los Angeles that if everything goes well, they hope to open this location in mid-July 2025. After this, Cho says he would like to open more locations within Los Angeles County, but will establish the first location before scouting for a second.

Cho decided to franchise with Poké House after a close friend and the founder of Poké House inspired him. He tells What Now that he was drawn to the entrepreneurial spirit behind the brand and the opportunity to step outside his comfort zone. After tasting the poké in Northern California and being surprised by its quality and unique twist on the traditional Hawaiian-inspired dish, he became a dedicated fan and saw the potential to bring something fresh and exciting to the Los Angeles food scene. With plans to open additional locations across Southern California, Cho is focused on building a strong foundation in Los Angeles before expanding further.

This is just the beginning for Poké House within California, according to Restaurant News. Franchise partners Anne Hizon, Lionel Ibarra, and John Cristi have signed on with a location in Brentwood, while Keren and Russel Vaj have officially signed to open a Poké House in Davis.

These new agreements bring the brand to 16 open locations, with a 17th in Alameda, California, coming soon to the franchise family. The East Coast is also celebrating, with Atlanta’s Poké House freshly opened as the brand’s first store in the region. With over 70 signed locations nationwide, Poké House remains on track to meet its goal of opening ten new stores in 2025.

As the brand continues to rack up milestones this year, one of its most anticipated launches is Poké House’s first Los Angeles location, slated for launch late this summer. This debut marks a significant move into one of the country’s most dynamic food markets. Currently, two stores are in SoCal—one in Santa Barbara and the other in San Diego.

“Breaking into the Los Angeles market is a major step for us,” James Deng, CEO of Poké House, said in a news release. “This launch is especially meaningful as it marks our first location in the city – we plan on opening several more in the near future.”

As the demand for healthy, high-quality fast-casual options grows, Poké House is meeting the moment with thoughtful expansion and a steadfast commitment to sustainability, quality, and community-driven franchising. The brand sources 100% sustainably farmed salmon and works with fair trade-certified vendors, staying true to its mission from construction to consumption.
