Prince Street Pizza, a chain restaurant that opened its doors in 2012 in New York City, is getting ready to open a new location in Westlake Village at 30768 Russell Ranch Road, Ste A.

The company’s newest location is set to replace 101 BBQ Hut/Hook Burger in the Westlake Village shopping center, according to ConejoValleyGuide. It’s unclear when Prince Street Pizza is expected to open, but when it does, customers can expect an authentic New York slice shop that serves Sicilian “SoHo” Squares and original Neapolitan pizzas. The company has expanded to 15 locations, including Malibu, Studio City, and other nearby areas, including San Diego and Phoenix.

When the new Prince Street Pizza location opens, it will offer pizza by the slice and whole pies, made with handcrafted sauces prepared daily from scratch. The restaurant uses a special water filtration process to replicate New York’s dough texture. The Morano family’s recipes have been passed down for generations based on the idea that “if you can put it on pasta, you can put it on pizza.” Prince Street Pizza has since become known as a premium pizzeria in New York, Miami, and California.

This is the latest development for Westlake Village, which has seen a handful of tenants come and go in the past few months. 101 Barbecue Hut closed its doors after November 30 to make room for Prince Street Pizza. Also recently announced is a new location of Toastery, expected to open in March 2025. Other recent additions to the shopping center include Neighborly, a one-of-a-kind food hall from DFG Ventures. TRU Bowl Superfood Bar is preparing to open a new location at 30819 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in early 2025.
