Que Pasa is opening a new location in Bakersfield. According to public records, it looks like the restaurant is transferring its liquor license from its original store at 9000 Ming Avenue to a new address at 600 Coffee Road. The business name at the new location is listed as Que Pasa Mex-Kitchen and Sports Bar – could the owners be trading up for a sports bar concept?

Que Pasa offers authentic home-style cooking with a Mexican flare. Their menu includes classic items like guacamole, ceviche, tacos and flan, as well as signature dishes like molcajete, sizzling enchiladas, fajitas, Pescado Vallarta, enchiladas de chocolate and more. They also have an extensive tequila collection and daily specials like Margarita & Michelada Mondays, Taco & Tequila Tuesdays and Wine Wednesdays.

Owned by Baldo Cisneros, Que Pasa opened its first location at The Marketplace in Bakersfield in 1999. Today, they have additional storefronts in Fresno, Visalia, Atascadero and Tulare

Cisneros could not be immediately reached for comment.
