Planning documents filed with Epic LA detail a Raising Cane’s coming to the southwest corner of 10th St & Avenue L in Lancaster.

The proposed eatery, which, if approved, will be built on a vacant lot adjacent to Wendy’s and Carl’s Jr., will include a dining patio and a drive-thru. It’s currently unclear when construction could commence.

Raising Cane’s has long been lauded for its high-quality, fresh fare — chicken fingers, sandwiches, fries, bread, and Cane’s sauce — and wholesome business approach. Founder Todd Graves is adamant about the franchise’s community involvement and often identifies creative and charitable ways to give back to the spaces and places that supported his dream.

“Our vision is to have locations all over the world,” explains the company’s website, “and be known as the brand for quality chicken finger meals, a great crew, a cool culture, and active community involvement.”

Should the project receive the green light, the popular chicken chain will add to the bustling intersection that is presently dominated by a Costco branch.
