Randy’s Donuts, one of the world’s most recognizable doughnut shops, has plans to open a new store in Culver City at 4114 Sepulveda Blvd., along with six more locations throughout SoCal and the Southwest. Owner and CEO Mark Kelegian tells WNLA he expects the company-owned Culver City outpost to be open sometime this summer.

The addition of these new stores will bring Randy’s total to 44 units, and they expect to grow to at least 50 stores by the end of the year.

“We’re excited to bring Randy’s to a location that services customers who otherwise would have to fight traffic to get to our Santa Monica or Inglewood locations,” says Kelegian.

Randy’s, founded in 1952, is best known for its 32-foot giant rooftop donut at its original location in Inglewood. Their large fluffy doughnuts are made by hand using proprietary ingredients and come in over 60 varieties of classic, deluxe, fancy and premium offerings, along with the store’s signature Randy’s Rounds doughnut holes. Customers can also order specialty coffee drinks, refreshers, boba and milkshakes.
