Twin-tower apartment complex Circa in the South Park district of DTLA has finalized a lease with steak and seafood eatery Mastro’s Ocean Club for a 14,000-square-foot street-level space, according to a press release Friday.
Mastro’s joins Chase in the development which will open a 6,000-square-foot flagship bank branch.
“Mastro’s fine-dining experience integrates perfectly into the Circa lifestyle and South Park’s world-class entertainment district to round out our vision for the complex,” Scott Dobbins, president of Hankey Investment Company, who represents the CIRCA ownership, said in the release.
“With 70 percent of Circa’s twin towers already leased, the addition of world-class cuisine at the ground level is why Circa continues to raise the bar for downtown luxury living.”
When the restaurant opens in 2020, it will be Mastro’s seventh location in Southern California and seventeenth nationwide.
Built on 2.7 acres at the gateway to L.A. Live, Circa’s twin 35-story towers offer 648 residences and 48,000 square feet of total retail space.
Each residence is built to condo specifications with European finishes ranging in size from one-bedroom, 600-square-foot units to 4,000-square-foot penthouses with three bedrooms.
