Reunion & Companya former Los Feliz-based specialty coffee and natural wine brand, will not reopen its original location at 1903 Hyperion Ave.

Instead, the team behind the business is preparing to launch a new concept that has been in development for several years. While specific details have not yet been made public, the latest project marks a departure from the original Reunion & Company brand. In the meantime, Co-owner Tyler Simmons tells What Now Los Angeles that a coffee cart operated by the team will open in the parking lot of the Hyperion Avenue location starting Monday. The cart will serve as a temporary presence while the team finalizes plans for the new concept. Simmons has submitted documentation to the Los Angeles City Planning Department to advance the new concept.

Reunion & Company was established in 2019 and became known for its natural wines produced with minimal intervention, using small amounts of sulfur and avoiding fining and filtration. The business focused on ethical farming practices and sourcing from local growers. It also offered specialty coffee and built a loyal following before closing its brick-and-mortar location. Although the original brand will not return, the team continues to remain active in the local hospitality space and plans to share more information about their upcoming concept in the near future.

1903 Hyperion Avenue is an excellent location for the new concept due to its steady foot traffic and visibility in the Los Feliz neighborhood. The area is surrounded by other small businesses, cafes, and restaurants, making it a natural fit for a community-focused venture. Its proximity to residential streets and popular local spots helps draw regulars and new visitors. The space also benefits from familiarity due to the former Reunion & Company storefront.
