In-N-Out Burger is moving forward with plans to open a new restaurant in Van Nuys.
The fash-casual chain will build from the ground-up, at 6323 Sepulveda Blvd, on land currently occupied by El Monte RV, according to documents recently shared with the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council Planning and Land Use Committee.
In-N-Out first filed plans with the City of Los Angeles for the Van Nuys location in late-2019.
At the time of the filing, reps for the popular Irvine, California-based chain would not confirm the plans or the exact location.
“We are always looking for future store opportunities in the San Fernando Valley and we certainly hope to open another restaurant in Van Nuys in the future,” Carl Arena, VP of real estate and development for In-N-Out, told What Now Los Angeles (WNLA) at the time of the initial filing.
“That said, any sites our team may be considering at this time would be so early in the process to be entirely speculative as to whether they would even be developable so there isn’t any additional information I can provide you at this time.”
The new drive-thru restaurant, adjacent Jack In The Box, would be approximately 3,039 square feet with 48 interior seats and 30 outside.
Proposed hour of operation are from Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.
A timeline for the project has not yet been disclosed.
