San Diego-based crepe company Olala Crepes is expanding into Los Angeles, coming to San Pedro at 1190 Nagoya Way.

The new Olala Crepes is the latest tenant to join the other upcoming restaurants and retailers coming to the new West Harbor Waterfront, according to Eater LA. Other restaurants coming to the $150 million redevelopment include Yamashiro, Poppy + RoseMike Hess Brewing, Jay Bird’s Nashville Hot Chicken, and a few others. All of the restaurants and retailers coming to the area are expected to open once the West Harbor development goes live, which is expected to be sometime in 2023.

Olala Crepes hopes to become the newest innovative creperie in Los Angeles. Owner Samuel Icyk first opened the restaurant in San Diego’s Liberty Public Market in 2017. Soon after, he expanded to a second location in the city’s Gaslamp Quarter. Now, he gets ready to make his Los Angeles debut with his collections of sweer and savory crepes, plus a handful of paninis.

Icyk believes he has what it takes to make it in Los Angeles. The company has a variety of unique products that offer an alternative to the current fast food options. Olala crepes has developed an array of freshly prepared, high-quality crepes and paninis that are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
