San Fernando Coffee Company, a Southern California-based cafe chain known for its community-focused atmosphere, is set to open a new location in Los Angeles at 9160 Sepulveda Blvd.
The company’s eighth brick-and-mortar is set to move into the former home of Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt, according to WhatsNewSFV. It’s unclear when the new location is expected to open, but customers can expect a welcoming atmosphere and a community-focused environment when it does. The cafe currently has a handful of locations throughout Los Angeles, including in Burbank, Santa Clarita, Azusa, San Fernando, and even has a food truck in Pacoima.
The new location follows the grand opening of San Fernando Coffee Company in Monrovia, taking place this Friday, June 27, at 116 W. Foothill Blvd. The first 50 customers will receive a complimentary latte voucher, and the celebration will feature freshly baked pan dulce, face painting, live jazz, a DJ, giveaways, prizes, and a variety of local vendors offering flowers, art, clothing, and pressed juice. The event will also feature a ribbon cutting and a full day of festivities.
San Fernando Coffee Company, owned and operated by Isaiah Rosario, offers a menu that includes espresso drinks, cold brews, and specialty lattes such as Horchata and Mexican Mocha. Non-coffee options include matcha, chai, and iced teas. Food items range from breakfast burritos and bowls to crepes, waffles, and pastries. Some locations also offer sandwiches, croissants, and other brunch-style handhelds. Vegan and vegetarian options are available at select locations. The menu may vary slightly depending on the location.
