Since its 2020 launch in New York City and recent debut in Culver City, Matthew Kinney Cuisine‘s Sestina has delighted foodies with spectacular plant-based pastas and Italian fare. Luckily for Angelenos, the exquisite pasta bar is expanding into Century City.

“We are beyond excited to have a location that is more centrally located in LA. Century City is a draw for locals and visitors alike, not in small part due to the mall where we will be located,” Director of Global Marketing Michaela O’Malley told What Now Los Angeles.

Sestina will open its third location at 10250 Santa Monica Boulevard on the second floor of the Westfield Shopping Center in Century City. The restaurant will span 1,938 square feet and include a 363-square-feet outdoor seating area, providing a total occupancy of approximately 75 people. Its neutral tones and soft accents will echo the chain’s relaxed and refined decor. Sestina will feature a custom wood-burning oven and an open pasta bar where guests can watch the chefs create their meals.

Sestina offers a plant-based menu brimming with vibrant and healthy renditions of traditional Italian antipasti, fromagerie, pastas, and desserts as well as an exceptional selection of creative, plant-based cocktails and wines. Signature pastas–adorned with fresh, house-made, plant-based cheeses–include Sweet Pea Ravioli (alfredo), Radiatori (smokey sugo), Tagliatelle (truffle), and Pappardelle (mushroom ragout). Every dish is made to perfection, dazzling the senses. O’Malley added that “guests are surprised that we are plant-based and often they don’t realize until they are ready to pay the check.”

Be sure to reserve a table at Sestina in Century City for a vegan conversion experience when it opens its doors this fall.
