American submarine sandwich chain Jersey Mike’s is set to open eight new locations throughout Los Angeles County.

The sandwich juggernaut continues to expand throughout Los Angeles, already announcing a location coming to Norwalk. There’s no exact date of any of these Jersey Mike’s, but they are all expected to open by year-end. Franchisee Alvaro Garcia, who owns over 40 locations throughout Southern California, hopes to one day own 100 stores in the area, and a handful of these locations will fall under his control. Jersey Mike’s is quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing companies in the country, already having over 2,000 locations.

Jersey Mike’s was started back in 1956 by 17-year-old Peter Cancro from a small shop in the sea-side town of Point Pleasant. To make a name for itself during that time, Concro relied on exceptional quality products coupled with unparalleled service. In 2020, Cancro launched a new franchise program called the Coach Rod Smith Ownership program, where managers of the company have the opportunity to franchise their own location. Here are the addresses of the upcoming Jersey Mike’s:

  • Azusa – 1240 W. Foothill Blvd., Unit B
  • Long Beach – 7675 E. Carson St.
  • Monterey Park – 2215 S. Atlantic Blvd.
  • Santa Clarita – 19325 Plum Canyon Rd., Suite B
  • West Covina – 1040 W. Covina Pkwy.
  • West Covina – 2200 S. Azusa Ave., Suite A
  • Westchester – 8629 S. Sepulveda Blvd.
  • Woodland Hills – 21506 Victory Blvd.
