It looks like Shake Shack is working on opening an outpost in Torrance. The fast-food giant recently applied for a liquor license at 1875 W 190th St. — a previously vacant, undeveloped lot. WNLA also recently reported that the burger and milkshake chain is working on another location in Oxnard’s RiverPark development.
These new stores are part of the Shack’s continued expansion efforts. At the end of last year, the Associated Press reported that the company plans to open 40 stores in 2024. Currently, there are more than 500 locations around the globe.
Shake Shack offers a variety of burgers, sandwiches, shakes and fries. The brand prides itself on using quality ingredients in accordance with industry-leading animal welfare practices and using sustainable materials to build its Shacks.
An opening date for the Torrance location has yet to be announced.
