Sogno Toscano Cafe, a Tuscan-inspired lifestyle cafe known for its espresso, market, and wine offerings, is getting ready to open in Manhattan Beach at 451 Manhattan Beach Blvd #B102.

The company’s third Los Angeles location will open within the Metlox Shopping Center, according to a recent liquor license application. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the cafe will introduce locals to Sogno Toscano’s signature espresso bar, wine selections, and Italian market items. The brand is led by lifelong friends and co-founders Pietro Brembilla and Brian Persico, who bring decades of experience in delivering authentic Tuscan flavors through both their cafes and nationwide distribution network.

Sogno Toscano traces its origins to Bolgheri, Tuscany, where Brembilla and Persico grew up before moving to New York City in 2006. The pair began by importing high-quality olive oil from Brembilla’s family estate and eventually expanded into a lifestyle cafe and gourmet food distribution business. Today, Sogno Toscano operates multiple cafe locations, including West Village, Chelsea, Santa Monica, The Grove in Los Angeles, and Arcadia, Phoenix, while supplying chefs and households across the United States.

The Manhattan Beach cafe will mark another step in the brand’s West Coast expansion. Designed to combine a casual cafe experience with curated Italian products, the location will feature an espresso bar, wine bar, and market, allowing customers to enjoy both prepared dishes and specialty items to take home. Sogno Toscano’s cafes emphasize quality ingredients, handcrafted preparations, and a connection to Italian culinary traditions.

Menu offerings typically include specialty espresso drinks, Italian pastries, sandwiches, charcuterie, and curated wines. Most products are GMO-free, with rigorous testing and feedback from award-winning chefs to maintain consistent quality. The cafe also plans to host events and offer seasonal selections, bringing the company’s interpretation of “La Dolce Vita” to Manhattan Beach.

The Metlox Shopping Center offers an excellent landing spot for Sogno Toscano, given its central location, strong foot traffic, and access to the Manhattan Beach community. Brembilla and Persico remain actively involved in the cafes’ operations, ensuring their original vision of authentic Tuscan flavors and premium service continues across each location.
