Lions Peak — a family-owned and operated winery helmed by sommelier Jennifer Soni-Arant — will soon open its second location at 1321 E Thousand Oaks Blvd a118 Thousand Oaks, CA 91362, according to a liquor license filed with The State of California and confirmed by the company’s website

Lions Peak’s maiden operation is located on Copenhagen Drive in the Danish-inspired city of Solvang. Founded in 1992,  the winery debuted its inaugural, old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon in 1994.

Since then, Soni-Arant has been a major player in the farming and production of Lions Peak’s wines, sourcing fruit from her family’s vineyard, Paso Robles, Edna Valley, Monterrey, St. Rita Hills, and Santa Barbara.

Three decades after its inception, the company continues producing ultra-premium hand-crafted red wines as well as well-balanced white wines ranging from traditional Chardonnays to Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne.

Now, Lions Peak has started working on its second location in the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village area on the Northwest edge of Los Angeles. The winery will debut at Northstar Plaza, a collection of four two-story elevator-serviced office buildings and three one-story commercial structures built in 1978.

The retail spaces range from 1,000 square feet up to the 6,000 square foot anchor tenant, Mermaid Tavern.
